DMX specials

DMX cannot only be used to control a lighting installation. In general, there are all kinds of applications where DMX can be used as a control: smoke machines and other theatrical effects, moving scenery and equipment for projection.

Scrollers and shutters

Besides DMX dimmers and DMX switch packs, which you can use for a multitude of lighting and effects applications, there are DMX devices that have been devised for a very specific application. For example, control for scrollers (colour wheels) or remote activation of a beamer shutter; all things that cannot be controlled with a dimmer or switchpack.
