JB-Lighting Sparx 12: Powerful pixel wash with TwinZoom and silent finesse
The Sparx 12 Washbeam is a compact, lightweight and extremely powerful LED washer that is ideal for both creative effects and homogeneous wash applications. Equipped with 19 40-watt RGBW LEDs and a patented TwinZoom system (3.2°–55°), the Sparx 12 offers the flexibility to deliver both a razor-sharp spot and a wide wash. Thanks to its light weight of 15.5 kg, whisper-quiet operation at 29 dB(A) and adjustable base colour temperature from 2700K to 8000K, it is a versatile all-rounder for stage, studio and exhibition halls.
Two functions in one: effect unit and high-quality wash
The JB-Lighting Sparx 12 Washbeam is designed for situations where a fixture needs to do more than just provide general lighting. With its individual pixel control, sparkle channel, layer-overlay function and exceptionally homogeneous light, this fixture is equally suitable as a specific effect unit in backlighting and for use as a high-quality wash. Thanks to its optimised optical system and a maximum output that exceeds that of conventional 2kW spotlights, the Sparx 12 delivers a beam with precision, power and finesse, without compromise.
TwinZoom technology and creative freedom
With the patented TwinZoom system, you can zoom the inner 7 LEDs and the outer ring independently of each other and even with different colours. This opens the door to unique effects, from dynamic beam shapes to colourful, moving patterns. The zoom switches in just 0.5 seconds from a narrow 3.2° beam to a full 55° wash, ideal for quick show transitions and smooth, customised lighting effects.
Perfect colour control and dimming behaviour
The Sparx 12 excels in colour mixing and dimming: fully stepless, high-resolution and colour-accurate from 0–100%. Using the CTC channel, the colour temperature can be precisely set or adjusted for cameras thanks to the flicker-free camera mode (100 / 120 / 600 Hz). A black body shift control makes the luminaire suitable for the most critical broadcast applications. All this makes the Sparx 12 the ideal tool for situations where accuracy counts.
