Impressive light quality and flexibility

The P5 Beamspot is equipped with a 200 W high-power LED module. The light source delivers 13,000 lumens, of which 9,000 lumens are effective output with a CRI of 74 (+/- 3) at a colour temperature of 6800 K. This makes this LED moving head a powerful and bright beam for professional stage lighting.

For applications requiring higher colour fidelity, the P5 features a High CRI filter with a CRI of 90 (+/- 3). In addition, CTO and CTB filters are integrated for additional colour correction. The virtual CTC adjustment enables a colour temperature range from 2000 K to 13000 K, allowing the fixture to be easily adapted to a wide variety of lighting situations.

The CMY colour mixing ensures fast and perfectly homogeneous colour blending. This is supported by a colour wheel with 8 full or half colours, including a UV filter. The combination of CMY, colour wheel and correction filters provides a wide variety of colour combinations and smooth transitions, making this beamspot not only powerful but also exceptionally versatile.

Versatile effects for creative applications

Creative freedom is at the heart of the JB-Lighting P5 Beamspot. This moving head features two gobo wheels:

• 1 gobo wheel with 11 static gobos including a beam reducer gobo
• 1 gobo wheel with 7 rotatable, positionable and interchangeable gobos, including one art glass gobo and one multicolour gobo

With this extensive gobo configuration, sharp projections, textures and powerful beam effects can be easily achieved.

In addition, the P5 is equipped with a 3-section circular prism and a 5° frost filter. Other frost levels of 1°, 2°, 3.5°, 10° and 20° are available as options. This allows the fixture to produce both tight beams and more subtle lighting patterns.

The electronic dimmer operates from 0% to 100% with three selectable dimming curves. The electronic shutter features pre-programmed pulse and ramp functions. Thanks to the 3-phase extra-strong stepper motors, pan and tilt movements with a maximum of 541° pan and 281° tilt are smooth, fast and precise.

Durability and ease of use

Despite its performance, the JB-Lighting P5 Beamspot is extremely quiet. The high-tech heat pipe cooling, combined with calibrated fans, ensures a maximum noise level of just 29 dB(A). This makes this LED moving head suitable for theatres, TV studios and other noise-sensitive environments.

The LED module has a lifespan of over 20,000 hours and operates completely flicker-free. Camera modes of 100, 120 and 600 Hz (Flex mode) as well as a high flex mode (3 kHz) make the P5 suitable for film and television productions.

In terms of control, the P5 supports DMX 512 with RDM as well as ArtNet and sACN via Ethernet. Wireless DMX and RDM via Lumen Radio CRMX TiMo are integrated as standard. The 180° rotatable text on the LCD display, featuring function keys and a battery buffer, offers comprehensive analysis functions.

The robust construction with four carrying handles and original JB-Lighting slide-in module technology guarantees ease of use in all conditions. ‘Made in Germany’ stands for high-quality workmanship and durable quality.
