With DAP Odin, DJs, bands, actors and other performers can quickly and easily create deep, punchy bass, subtle instrument details and true vocal emotions. The Odin Active Series is a collection of active line array satellites (T-8A), active line array subwoofers (S-18A and S-218A) and active full-range speakers (SF-12A and SF-15A). The DSP settings of each loudspeaker (group) in a setup can be adjusted from a laptop via a network. Up to 48 units can be connected to the CL-4 network interface. Celestion components, DSP optimisation and Class D amplifiers ensure excellent sound quality in any location and setup.
Multiple stacking and hanging solutions are available with dedicated fly bars, stack bars, pole mount adapters and fly towers. Safe transportation/storage is also ensured with dedicated flight cases, transport covers and castor boards. IP covers protect your speakers from heavy rain, making them a reliable and trustworthy companion in all conditions.
The DAP Odin S-218A is an extra bold, heavy weight Ultra Subwoofer suitable for medium to big crowds. It produces an awesome wall of sound with a frequency response as low as 28 Hz for an extremely low bass. The internal high-power 4 kW Class D amplifier has a peak output power of 10,000 watts. The subwoofer is intended to be used in combination with T-8(A) Line Array Satellites for a super punchy full-range sound.
The Odin S-218A is equipped with two 18" Celestion Ferrite Magnet subwoofers containing 5" voice coils producing up to a staggering 141 dB SPL at 1 meter distance. The DSP settings are configurable to make sure that the S-218A delivers under any circumstance and in any setup.
Several DSP presets are available, including preset for “Cardioid” and “End Fire” mode. A great addition to the T-8(A) Satellite and S-18(A) Subwoofer to literally bring more punch and depth to your live shows.
With the Odin Active loudspeakers, the free Odin Editor software, in combination with the CL-4 Connect, allows you to freely adjust the EQ, gain and delay per speaker or per group of speakers from a Windows PC/laptop. It also allows you to monitor live information from each speaker, such as amplifier temperature and high/low output. In addition, EASE Focus 3 software can be used to calculate the splay angle and "Throw". A plug-in has been developed for adding our speakers to its database.
Please note that powerCON and network cables are not included but are to be ordered separately.
