With the EW-D series, Sennheiser introduces a product line that includes receivers and transmitters using digital communication. The advantages are considerable. The ease of use is enormous and within selected frequency ranges there is more space for transmitters and receivers. Some of the technology used comes from Sennheiser's high-end Digital 6000 and 9000 series.

Unrivalled bandwidth

The result is an unrivalled bandwidth (56MHz) and an unprecedented dynamic range (134dB). This makes the signal extremely reliable and allows systems with 90 channels to be put together in the blink of an eye. Setting up transmitters and receivers is amazingly simple and takes hardly any time at all.

Transmitter coordination via app

Using the Sennheiser Smart Assist app for iOS and Android, automated set-ups can be made at lightning speed. You then get wireless access to the settings of individual transmitter/receiver systems, which you can then also monitor. Cošrdination of frequencies is extremely simple and convenient with the app.

Operating frequencies

Since intermodulation is a thing of the past, as in the Digital 6000 and 9000 systems, the EW-D series can use a grid where the operating frequencies are spaced at a fixed 600Hz apart. The impressive maximum number of channels is also due to this technology.
