DAP | D3930 | Odin SF-12A | 12" full-range active bi-amped speaker
Description
The DAP Odin Line Array Series is a versatile sound system suitable for high-energy indoor and outdoor events for up to 2500 visitors. It is a scalable and rental-friendly solution for both stackable and suspended setups, suitable for almost any venue of any size. Odin systems have a robust design and can deliver incredible sound quality at an unprecedented low price. With DAP Odin, DJs, bands, actors and other performers can quickly and easily create deep, punchy bass, subtle instrument details and true vocal emotions. The Odin Active Series is a collection of active line array satellites (T-8A), active line array subwoofers (S-18A and S-218A) and active full-range speakers (SF-12A and SF-15A). The DSP settings of each loudspeaker (group) in a setup can be adjusted from a laptop via a network. Up to 48 units can be connected to the CL-4 network interface. Celestion components, DSP optimisation and Class D amplifiers ensure excellent sound quality in any location and setup.
Multiple stacking and hanging solutions are available with dedicated fly bars, stack bars, pole mount adapters and fly towers. Safe transportation/storage is also ensured with dedicated flight cases, transport covers and castor boards. IP covers protect your speakers from heavy rain, making them a reliable and trustworthy companion in all conditions.
The DAP Odin SF-12A is a versatile 12" full-range active bi-amped speaker. Its Celestion Ferrite drivers provide a well balanced sound suitable for both on and off stage. Due to its sturdy, road-ready and extra angular design, it can be used as stage monitor, full-range speaker as well as top speaker. A combination is possible with a DAP Odin S-18 or S-18A Subwoofer. The low driver has a water resistant coating to survive humid and outdoor conditions.
The SF-12A is equipped with an 800 watt RMS Class D amplifier. It can produce a staggering 128 dB SPL at 1 meter distance. This makes it more than competent for either in-fill, out-fill and drum-fill applications as well as delay speaker. It also has an integrated DSP processor that is similar to other active Odin speakers and can be used with the same editor software.
The SF series includes all mounting/rigging options, both for flying (built-in M10 thread) and in combination with a speaker stand or distance pole. The rotatable horn enables the speaker to be placed both in horizontal and vertical position.
