With DAP Odin, DJs, bands, actors and other performers can quickly and easily create deep, punchy bass, subtle instrument details and true vocal emotions. The Odin Active Series is a collection of active line array satellites (T-8A), active line array subwoofers (S-18A and S-218A) and active full-range speakers (SF-12A and SF-15A). The DSP settings of each loudspeaker (group) in a setup can be adjusted from a laptop via a network. Up to 48 units can be connected to the CL-4 network interface. Celestion components, DSP optimisation and Class D amplifiers ensure excellent sound quality in any location and setup.
Multiple stacking and hanging solutions are available with dedicated fly bars, stack bars, pole mount adapters and fly towers. Safe transportation/storage is also ensured with dedicated flight cases, transport covers and castor boards. IP covers protect your speakers from heavy rain, making them a reliable and trustworthy companion in all conditions.
The DAP Odin S-18A is a versatile active Line Array Subwoofer suitable for small to big crowds. For a punchy full-range sound, you can hang or stack this 1500 W Class D subwoofer (6000 W peak) together with DAP Odin T-8(A) satellites by using the DAP Odin FB-02 stack bar as adapter and the DAP Odin FB-01 as fly bar.
The S-18A is equipped with an 18" Celestion Ferrite Magnet subwoofer containing a 4" voice coil producing up to a staggering 136 dB SPL at 1 meter distance. The DSP settings are configurable for making sure that the S-18A delivers under any circumstance and any setup. Several DSP presets are also available, including "Cardioid" mode.
Building a complete Odin Line Array set can be done by just one person due to its 4-point suspension system. Not only is the setup quick and labour saving, it also is a very modular system, allowing different setups to fit any location. You can use the optional 35 mm pole mount adapter to arrange a Satellite setup. Or integrate the optional stack frame or fly bar and use the suspension points to arrange a stack or Line Array setup which suits your venue best.
With the Odin Active loudspeakers, the free Odin Editor software, in combination with the CL-4 Connect, allows you to freely adjust the EQ, gain and delay per speaker or per group of speakers from a Windows PC/laptop. It also allows you to monitor live information from each speaker, such as amplifier temperature and high/low output. In addition, EASE Focus 3 software can be used to calculate the splay angle and "Throw". A plug-in has been developed for adding our speakers to its database.
Please note that powerCON cables & network cable are not included but are to be ordered separately.
