The blade set of the JB-Lighting P18 MK2 Profile Spot has been meticulously developed with four blades, each individually rotatable up to ±28°, with full closure possible. The entire blade module rotates through ±65° (130° in total) and the blades can be positioned exactly parallel or in playful patterns. This makes it possible to cut sharp frames, ‘total curtain’ effects and creative shapes perfectly into the light pattern. An indispensable feature for both theatre and broadcast.

The P18 MK2 Profile Spot combines raw light output with sophisticated visual effects; for instance, the P18 MK2 features two gobo wheels with 6 rotating and 8 static gobos, all interchangeable, two rotating prisms: a circular prism (3-facet) and a linear prism (5-facet), an animation wheel and a sparkle effect for dynamic projections. The P18 also features: autofocus, electronic iris, dimmer and shutter with FX modes. The P18 MK2 also features two frost filters: a soft edge (1°) and a flood frost (5°). Finally, the optics are built around 13 coated lenses that maintain a homogeneous beam across the full zoom range of 6.5° to 54°.
