The all-rounder: the JB-Lighting P12 Profile Spotlight
The P12 Profile Spot from JB-Lighting is a true powerhouse in a compact format. With an output of 25,000 lumens, a 640 W white LED source and an impressive zoom range of 5.7° to 60°, this spotlight delivers impressive brightness and versatility. Thanks to its integrated blade set, extensive colour correction options and innovative Slide-In technology, the P12 is the perfect choice for events, theatres, television productions and more. Its quiet operation and robust construction also make it a reliable partner for demanding applications.
Powerful performance and impressive light quality
The P12 delivers exceptional brightness that rivals traditional 1,200 W fixtures, but with significantly lower energy consumption (just 800 W). Thanks to the different variants (High Power, High CRI and Warm White), the spotlight can be precisely tailored to the desired application: maximum light output, perfect colour fidelity or halogen-like warmth. The combination of CMY colour mixing, linear CTO or CTB correction and a 7-colour wheel makes the creation of rich, smooth colour gradients simple and powerful.
Maximum control thanks to the blade set
The integrated blade set offers designers unrivalled freedom in shaping the light beam. Each of the four blades can be individually adjusted in position and angle and closed completely for a tight, precisely defined light pattern. The entire blade module can also be rotated by ±55° (110° in total), allowing you to precisely cut out geometric shapes regardless of the luminaire’s orientation. Combined with frost filters and focus functions, this creates endless creative possibilities, ranging from razor-sharp patterns to subtle wash effects.
Fully equipped for creative light shows
With two gobo wheels (each with 6 rotating gobos), two types of prisms (linear and circular) and two continuously adjustable frost filters, the JB-Lighting P12 Profile Spot is a true all-rounder. Whether it’s dramatic textures, colourful beam shows or subtle light veil effects: the P12 makes it all possible. Thanks to JB Slide-In technology, gobos can be changed quickly without tools, making installation and maintenance particularly easy.
Pros and cons
Pros:
Very high light output of 25,000 lumens at just 800 W power consumption
Comes standard with a rotatable blade set for precise beam shaping
Extremely quiet operation at just 29 dB(A)
Highly versatile zoomrange from 5.7° to 60°
Slide-In technology for quick maintenance
Various models available for optimal colour or light output to suit your needs
Cons:
Higher purchase price due to the extensive feature set
Optional filters are required for very specific colour
combinations
May exhibit differences in light colour without additional calibration to other luminaires (e.g. between HP, HC and WW versions)
Innovative Slide-In technology for easy maintenance
The P12 Profile Spot is equipped with the well-known JB Slide-In technology, allowing gobos and filters to be changed without tools. This saves time and minimises downtime during productions. In addition, all essential components are easily accessible for quick cleaning, without the need to disconnect cables or carry out complex dismantling.
Extensive possibilities with gobos, prisms and frost filters
The P12 allows you to combine gobo projections with rotating prisms or frost filters, for dynamic effects or soft wash effects. Both the 3-section circular prism and the 5-section linear prism are infinitely adjustable, allowing each effect to be smoothly adapted to the desired atmosphere of an event.
